This help describes all functionalities related with the management of companies in Nextway platform, from the moment a company is created, until the moment it is ready to operate (and how to later change their settings).
Chapter 1 of the help contains information to control de versioning and workflow of approval of the help itself.
This chapter (Chapter 2) gives an overview of this help, how it is structured and what kind of information can be found here.
Chapter 3 of the help explains all actions that can be done within Companies Management module of the Nextway platform. This chapter is written in a way to be read by someone who already is a platform user and is looking for the answer for a specific problem.
Chapter 4 of the help gives reader some additional reading sources about the help theme or some other linked themes.
The generic working rules of Nextway platform are defined in Nextway Platform Generic Working Rules Help and in Nextway Platform Web book, which should be read previously to this or any other specific module user’s help. It is not scope of this help anything related with integrations between Nextway platform and other internal or external systems, which will be analyzed in specific helps for each integrated system and/or functionality.
The companies’ management module is divided in two areas, Company Types Management and Companies Management itself. Company Types Management is totally supported on Nextway Administration component and is used to configure the distinct types of companies that can exist in the platform.
Companies Management allows the management of specific companies and is split across three distinct components of the Nextway Architecture:
• The support pages in Vortal Institutional site, that allows companies to auto-register themselves; • The Nextway Administration pages, which allow Vortal back-office services to create and maintain companies; • The Nextway Marketplace pages, which allow each company to manage their own information.
