4.1. WORK AREA ORGANIZATION
4.1.1. GENERAL OVERVIEW
OVERVIEW
The Work Area is the place where you will access all the platform information. All workflows and pages that will be loaded will be displayed inside the work area being possible for some of them to open as a small dialog window in some special cases.
DESCRIPTION
The work are has 4 main section
1. Session Menu
2. Main Menu
3. Quick Access Sidebar
4. Main Information area
1. Session Menu
The session menu contains information and options regarding your current work session. You will be able to see with which user you are currently logged in and in which company. Also, if you are member of more them one company, you will be able easily change your working company using the company combo-box. When you change to another company, all information available to you will be updated for you new company, and you will not be able to access to any information regarding another company business.
This bar will also grant you quick access to you user settings, Online Help, and logout.
2. Main Menu
The main menu contains options to allow you to access the different information and workflows. A limited number of options will be available but you can configure with options are visible. Also if you select the All Available Sections option, the system will show you all options to with you have access with your current profile.
In this menu you will also be able to quickly access your dashboard page (home) and your inbox messages. When you have new unread messages, an indication will be displayed over the message icon. If you click it, the inbox messages page will be displayed.
3. Quick Access Sidebar
The quick access sidebar contains a limited number of widgets that will grant you quick access to some objects transacted in the platform. Also you will have access to the global search. By fulfilling the search field a and executing a query, you will be able to search for any business object (you have access to) regardless his location.
4. Main Information Area
This area is where all information will be displayed. This section contains also a sub-menu where some options specific to page will be displayed.
You will see also that on top of the menu there are some generic options available in all pages. You can access the general page tools, page specific help, page unique ID number or even the current path you took to arrive to this specific page.
4.1.2. HOME PAGE (DASHBOARD)
OVERVIEW
Every time you login into the platform your home page will be displayed. It will contain some widgets that grant you access to quick information regarding your business. The number of widgets possible to display at same time in this area is limited, but you can easily configure them in your work area configuration page.
DESCRIPTION
Your home page contains 2 sections. The “welcome screen” and the “dashboard”. The welcome screen will be displayed the first time you login into the platform. It contain information to help you to start using the platform. The dashboard contains some widgets that grant you quick access to some information regarding your business.
4.1.3. ALL AVAILABLE OPTION

This page shows you all the sections you have access to.
DESCRIPTION
The All Available Options page can be accesses through the main menu bar.
In this page the system will list all the section available to you in the current company with your user profile. The sections will be organized in topics and in each topic the available options will be presented.
4.1.4. GLOBAL SEARCH
OVERVIEW
The global search allows you to search business objects regardless of their location.

4.1.5. MANAGEMENT PAGES
OVERVIEW
The management page is the front page of many of the sections where you can manipulate your business objects.
DESCRIPTION
Many of the pages that you will be able to interact with are management pages. These pages present you with a range of options that you can execute over the corresponding business object
Ex: if you are in your Company Users Management page, you will see the list of users associated with your company (member of pending members) and you will have available options to manage these users.
1. Page Sub-menu bar
This bar will give you quick access to the most used view and most important action of this management.
2. Local Search
The local search will allow you to search for object in the current context. For example, if you are in the company users management page, you will be able to search for users related with the company. The local search has two modes: the simple mode and the advanced mode. In simple mode you search a string and the system shows you all the objects that have any data that matches with that string.
The advanced mode, allows you to specify the parameters of the search for a better result. In the advanced mode you will be also able to save the search as a view for quick access later. This view will become available in the Views block in the custom views area (after the dotted line).
3. Objects Grid
The objects grid is where the business objects are listed (user, for example). Depending on your profile and permissions, you may be able to edit and see the object detail or execute other direct options. Some grids may present a small preview. This preview will display some more information regarding the object but not all information. For full information you should check the object detail.
Also, these grids may be views in two different modes: “paging” more and “more options” mode. In the “show more” mode, you will be able to click the Show +5 option and the grid will grow to show plus 5 rows.
In the “paging” mode the grid will display page numbers and you will be able to navigate through the pages.
In any case, this mode can be changed by selecting the “change page style” button on the lower right corner of the grid
4. Options
This block will contain the options available for you to execute over the objects in context.
5. Views
This block contains some default views you can user to quickly filter the information displayed on the grid. Also, it may contain some custom views saved by you. The number of visible custom views is limited, but you can define which custom views are visible by selection the EDIT options in the upper right corner of the Views block.
6. Tools
This block will contain some tools that you can use in the current context (ex: import, data, export data, etc…)
